The Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Community Planning Partnership launched the Banbridge Place Plan on 20 March 2024. The Plan sets out a vision that we will celebrate our innovators and independents to create a Banbridge of Tomorrow.
The Banbridge Place Plan has been created through a comprehensive engagement process with people who live and work in Banbridge and it suggest some ‘Big Ideas’ for the future including an improved evening economy, new footbridges, and the development of a cycling network.
The Plan is designed around 5 outcomes; Bridging Banbridge, Green Banbridge, Healthy Banbridge, Creative Banbridge, and Growing Banbridge. The plan identifies 56 actions to bring about positive change in Banbridge. These actions include physical and non-physical interventions and they have been thematically clustered;
