Preparations are underway for a Wellness Day event in Armagh on March 7 to promote physical and mental well-being.
Drumming for fitness, chair exercise and home safety advice are among the activities which will take place at the Neighbourhood Renewal Wellness Event in the Cathedral Road Recreation Centre from 10am to 2pm.
For people of all ages and particularly those aged 50 plus, staying active and staying safe is increasingly important and this event will help deliver simple and effective tips for maintaining good health.
There is also an intergenerational element to the event with pupils from Armagh CBS coming along to take part in a ‘Play through the Ages’ workshop.
Lunch will be provided. Tickets are limited for this event and if oversubscribed places will be drawn at random.
