Residents and motorists are advised of a number of road closures, restrictions and diversions which will be place in villages and towns across the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough in the run up to Christmas.
Sunday 19 November
Installation of festive features in Dromore. Traffic will be restricted and there will be a single lane closure on Church Street, Dromore from The Square to the Church Street Roundabout from 6am until 9am to facilitate installation of festive features. There will also be a single lane closure on Gallow Street in Dromore from The Square to Maypole Hill Road from 7.30am to 10am for the installation of festive features.
Friday 1 December
Rathfriland Christmas Lights Switch On and Twilight Market in Church Square. Traffic will be prohibited from using the lower side of Church Square, Rathfriland and the car parking bays at the war memorial end of Church Square, Rathfriland from 9.30am to 11pm on Friday 1 December 2023
Saturday 2 December
Markethill Twilight Markets and Christmas Lights Switch On. Traffic restrictions as follows: Lane narrowing on Main Street from Willis Hardware to the Dolphin Chip Shop, Markethill from 9.30 am to 5.30pm; Full Closure of Main Street from Keady Street to Newry Street, Markethill from 5.30 pm to 11pm. A diversion route will be signposted via Fairgreen Road, Markethill from 5.30pm.
