The successes of Richhill Tug of War Club were recognised at a Civic Reception held recently at the Palace Armagh.
Hosted by the Lord Mayor Alderman Margaret Tinsley, the special event celebrated a number of the club’s successes from 2023, which included winning Gold at the British and Irish Club Championship and securing three NI Championship titles.
Members from both Richhill and Ballyhegan Tug of War Clubs were congratulated on the evening for their success last year in winning the World Championship in the 560kg class and furthermore in defending that title at this year’s competition, which took place in Sweden.
