Our borough has a wealth of blue space including lakes, loughs and rivers – beautiful places that can have the most wonderful impact on our mental health and wellbeing.
Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council is a partner of ‘Live Here Love Here’, and their latest campaign – Healthy Oceans, Healthy Minds’ – is back for 2023 and encourages communities and individuals to come together and reconnect with the array of waterways around them.
Taking place from 19th August to 3rd September, funding for events is available, so if you have an idea that would bring people together near a blue space in our borough, why not get in touch? Past events have included litter picks on various rivers throughout the borough followed by a few refreshments!
So why not take the time to seek out these places with family and friends and reap the benefits that spending time by water can do for you!
