Over 1400 jobs up for grabs at online Job Fair!

Announcing over 1400 jobs on offer at Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council’s Virtual Job Fair on Tuesday 16 November from 9:30am-12:30pm: Lord Mayor Alderman Glenn Barr with Councillor Declan McAlinden, Chair of Economic and Regeneration Committee and Nicola Wilson, Head of Department: Economic Development Services.

More than 70 employers are offering over 1400 jobs at a free virtual Job Fair hosted by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council from 9:30am-12:30pm on Tuesday 16 November 2021.

Organised by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council the Job Fair aims to recruit from the vast pool of local talent across the Borough.

Local people are invited to join the virtual event to find out about job opportunities throughout the borough directly from employers. The event also offers information on training opportunities, free careers guidance and practical advice to improve your chances of finding employment. Attendees will receive a full listing of available vacancies including extra information on recruitment and training support after the event.  During the event, entrepreneur and inspirational speaker Naomh McElhatton will share her advice to attendees on how to give yourself the best chance of securing your dream job.

Vacancies are available from large and small employers in a range of sectors, including: manufacturing, construction, hospitality, retail, catering, transport, engineering, health and social work, the public sector and professional services.

Among the employers attending are Compass Group contracted by Linen Mill Studios, home of Game of Thrones Studio Tour.  Compass Group are recruiting for hospitality professionals at all levels to join their team at the new world-class visitor attraction located in Banbridge. Southern Health and Social Care Trust will also be in attendance and will be promoting almost 60 positions across the organisation on the day.
