Navan Centre & Fort recently celebrated the ancient festival of Lughnasa with the burning of a 30ft Wickerman, accentuated with captivating living history performances showcasing life in the Iron Age, artisan craft stalls, live music and family friendly activities. Other events throughout the year also mark important moments in the Celtic calendar such as Samhain, marking the origins of Halloween, the Autumn Equinox, Summer & Winter Solstices, Imbolc and Beltaine. Navan Centre also offers a selection of enhanced experiences throughout the year including willow weaving, copper jewellery making and embroidery workshops.
