If you love to dabble in a bit of photography, then why not enter Lurgan Park’s annual photography competition?
Amateur photographers throughout the borough are once again being asked to put their skills to the test – with the winning photos being included in the park’s 2022 calendar.
A maximum of five photos are allowed per entry, and photographers are asked to share their best photos of the park in one of following categories – and preferably without people or children:
- Wildlife
- Park life
- Landscape
Closing date for entries is Friday 22 October at noon. The competition is for amateur photographers only.
Email your entries to and please include the date the photo was taken, the name of the entrant and address. Photographs should be 8 x 6 size, landscape only.
Calendars will go on sale in November, with proceeds going to the Lord Mayor’s charity.
