Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough, Councillor Sarah Duffy invites you to Pride at the Palace Colour Run and Family Fun Day on Saturday 24 August 2024 from 1.00 – 3.00pm.
Meet the Lord Mayor on the grounds of the Palace Demense, Armagh for this colourful event and to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ communities during Pride Month. Open to all the family, face painters will be on hand and children’s bouncy castles will ensure a great afternoon of entertainment for all ages.
Speaking ahead of the event the Lord Mayor said, “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to host this important event and to show support to our local LGBTQIA+ community. There is sure to be a fantastic atmosphere and I look forward to seeing everyone looking as colourful as the Rainbow.
I’m equally delighted to announce this event will be free and all donations raised on the day will go towards supporting LGBTQIA+ charity, Cara-Friend, and my own charity for the year, Women’s Aid.”
