Christmas 2022 is officially in full swing across the whole borough now that the final festive light switch ons and twilight markets have taken place!
The more rural towns and villages of Richhill, Keady, Tandragee, Rathfriland and Markethill all had their magical Christmas events last week – and each venue saw families wrapping up warm so they could enjoy all of the joyful celebrations!
Each area had a fairy-tale mini twilight market with a variety of fabulous stalls featuring artisan food and drinks, arts and crafts and stunningly unique gift ideas that definitely helped to tick off a few Christmas presents!
Local school choirs sang carols, merry music was played, little ones danced and, of course, Santa Claus himself took time out of his busy schedule to switch on the all-important Christmas tree lights!
With face painting, Christmas characters and an abundance of festive cheer and happiness, the borough of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon is well and truly ready for Christmas – bring it on!
