Are you ready for a summer of fun? Armagh Summer in the City is back!

Join with the summer crew every Saturday from 20th July – 7th September from 12-4pm. There will be a varied and fun programme each week. Get ready for excitement for all the family with crafts, football, pom pom cheerleading, kiddie cooking, dance for the older kids, science, magic, and loads of music!

Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Councillor Sarah Duffy welcomed Summer in the City:

“Every Saturday from 20th July – 7th September we invite you to join us for some fun filled afternoons of free entertainment. The streets of Armagh will come alive with crafts, football, dancing and much more. There is something for everyone to enjoy. I also encourage you to explore the fantastic range of retail and dining opportunities the city has to offer and support our local businesses.”

If you are a dog fan, the Dog’s Trust will be calling in August to give more info and support to dog owners.  For sports fans, with the Olympics and Paralympics taking place in Paris there will be sporting activities galore in July. There will be hula hooping, circus tricks, face painting and more.

The season ends with a bang, coinciding with the Armagh Food and Cider Weekend which takes place from 5-8 September. On Saturday 7 there will be children’s cooking and Grow your Own Veg workshops. Bring your teddy to the teddy bear’s picnic and have fun with face painting and balloon modellers.

The events take place around Market Square, McCrum’s Court and outside the Market Place Theatre. All activities are free and drop-in sessions, so no need to book, just turn up.

Don’t miss out – make your Saturdays unforgettable in Armagh!
