The world’s only official Game of Thrones Studio Tour will open on Friday 4th February

Located at the acclaimed series’ original filming location at Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge, the brand new 110,000-square-foot interactive experience will transport fans into the very heart of Westeros to see breath-taking imagery, captivating sets, original props and costumes and more behind-the-scenes elements from the hit HBO series.

The multi-million pound, cutting-edge attraction will bring with it limitless benefits and opportunities for Banbridge, the surrounding borough and Northern Ireland bringing a massive boost to the tourism economy.

“This truly is a remarkable occasion, with the world’s only Game of Thrones Studio Tour officially open for visitors, right here in Banbridge, firmly placing our town and borough on the map for international tourism. This is a game-changing moment for the town that will attract visitors from all over the world, generating significant benefits for our local and regional economy.  

“We’ll continue to work with Linen Mill Studios to encourage visitors to not just visit but shop, dine and stay in our borough, and explore the rest of our tourism, arts and culture offering.  We want visitors to recommend this region to friends and family and return on a regular basis.  We have ambitious plans for the future with our bid for UK City of Culture submission taking place today too.

The epic drama, watched by millions around the world, was principally filmed on location and in studios across Northern Ireland, showcasing the region internationally.

Fans from all over the world are expected to step inside the iconic Great Hall at Winterfell where Jon Snow was proclaimed the “King in the North,” see Daenerys Targaryen’s imposing Dragonstone throne, delve into the incredible props, weaponry and visual effects of Game of Thrones and learn more about the skills and craftmanship that helped bring the show to life on screen.
