The weather certainly didn’t dampen the spirits this afternoon (Thursday 28 March) at the Lord Mayor’s Easter Trail and Fun Day!
Hosted by Alderman Margaret Tinsley at Tannaghmore Gardens, the cracking event saw hundreds of local children and family members don their wellies and raincoats to enjoy a fantastic afternoon hunting for hidden letters as they worked to unscramble the secret word to collect their Easter egg, while also taking part in face painting, Bushcraft and inflatable fun activities!
Thank you to everyone for coming along and helping the Lord Mayor raise £1,600 for her chosen charity Charis Cancer Care.
