F.E. McWilliam Gallery and Studio is thrilled to announce their upcoming art exhibition, TADA! an interactive exhibition for children by children. TADA! is a captivating showcase of creativity and collaboration organised by Kids’ Own Publishing Partnership. Kids’ Own is an arts and publishing organization based in Sligo that gives children of all ages and backgrounds a chance to have exciting arts experience and to make their own books with help from professional artists and writers. Kids’ Own have been working with children for over 25 years and TADA! is a celebration of their amazing work.

This unique exhibition has been meticulously developed and designed in partnership with young people, ensuring their voices resonate throughout every artwork. The interactive exhibition launched on Friday 16th February and is designed to inspire young minds, with lots of opportunity to get involved and interact with the exhibition. The exhibition comprises several themed spaces, focused around: play; people; place; and pondering. It is designed to inspire children to play, think, read, and share and has been curated by a panel of children and young people from across Ireland, in collaboration with Kids’ Own Associate Artist Vanya Lambrecht Ward.

TADA! celebrates the boundless imagination and fresh perspectives of our youngest creators. The exhibition invites visitors to step into a world where young minds take centre stage. Each piece reflects the vibrant energy, curiosity, and unbridled joy that only children can infuse into their art.

Riann Coulter, Curator and Manager welcomed the exhibition:

“We are delighted to present TADA! an exhibition that celebrates the uninhibited spirit of our young artists. Their fresh perspectives inspire us all. As you explore the gallery, you’ll witness the magic of collaboration and the joy of artistic discovery. We extend a warm welcome to everyone—families, art enthusiasts, and curious minds—to experience this remarkable exhibition.”

TADA! will run until 25 May 2024. The Gallery is open Monday – Saturday 10am – 5pm, free admission.
