F.E McWilliam Gallery and Studio is excited to announce the upcoming Autumn Craft Fair, taking place on the 6th and 7th of October at the gallery. This event is set to showcase an array of unique craft stalls, featuring a wide range of handmade products including jewellery, paintings, candles, and woodwork.
The Autumn Craft Fair is not only a fantastic opportunity to uncover one-of-a-kind treasures, but it also provides a platform for talented local crafters to showcase their creations. Whether you’re passionate about art, jewellery, or home decor, this fair is certain to have something for everyone.
As autumn sets in and the leaves start to change, what better way to spend a weekend than exploring handcrafted treasures and meeting talented artisans? This is a free event and open to the public. Friday 6th October, 4pm – 8pm, Saturday 7th, 10am – 4pm.
The F.E. McWilliam Gallery and Studio found on the outskirts of Banbridge is dedicated to the memory of sculptor Frederick Edward McWilliam, one of Ireland’s most influential and successful artists. F.E. McWilliam was born in Banbridge on the 30th of April 1909. He died in London in 1992 and the executors of his estate donated the sculptor’s studio and its contents to the town of his birth.
Featuring a permanent display of McWilliam’s work, temporary exhibitions of Irish and international art, a craft shop and café, the F.E. McWilliam Gallery and Studio attracts a wide range of local, national and international visitors. Open Monday – Saturday 10am – 5pm.
