Visitors to Banbridge town centre are in for a fun-filled shopping experience on Saturday 19 August.
Shoppers and their little helpers can look forward to a range of FREE activities including face painting, balloon modelling, a puppet show, arts and crafts, street performers and more to mark the town’s recent success at the ‘Let’s Celebrate Towns’ Awards, sponsored by Visa and the British Retail Consortium.
Banbridge is now ranked among the top eight towns in the UK, for the exciting initiatives, including business and council partnerships to drive investment and boost footfall to the town centre.
Lord Mayor Alderman Margaret Tinsley said:
“Having been recognised recently as a champion town at the ‘Let’s Celebrate Towns’ Award, events like this are just a small token of appreciation to residents for their continued support to local traders.
“Banbridge has so much to offer! It’s the homeplace of the very famous explorer, Captain Crozier and I encourage everyone to come along and explore everything that Banbridge has to offer!”
The FREE activities will take place across the town centre between 12noon-4pm.
