Does your community group have the necessary skills and experience to successfully deliver a capital project? How can you tell when you are ready?
Community Development are offering Basic Capital Project Training to community groups across the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough. This unaccredited training will give a realistic overview of the principles of managing a capital project. Participants will be guided through considerations such as project planning, securing funding and implementing build as well as maintaining a project once it is complete.
This training is primarily aimed at groups who are considering undertaking their first capital project and is intended to help them to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to assess their readiness and better understand the stages in this process.
Venue: Banbridge Enterprise Centre, 4 Scarva Road Industrial Estate, Scarva Road, Banbridge, BT32 3QD
Training Delivery Dates: Tuesday 11th February, Tuesday 18th February and Tuesday 4th March 2025
Site Visit to Completed Projects: Saturday 8th March 2025 (10am – 1pm)
Time: 7pm – 9.30pm
A booking fee of £10 per person will apply. Booking is essential as spaces are limited and training is offered on a first come, first served basis. Attendance is restricted to a maximum of two representatives per group and a reserve list will be in operation.
