The changeable weather didn’t dampen the spirit of adventure for visitors to Banbridge Town Centre on Saturday 19 August when they were welcomed by a cast of colourful characters and fun-filled family activities.
The free Explore Banbridge event included exploration themed street performers, balloon modelling, caricatures, puppet shows, arts and crafts and live music to enhance the Saturday afternoon shopping experience.
The event marked the town’s recent success at the ‘Let’s Celebrate Towns’ Awards, sponsored by Visa and the British Retail Consortium with the bustling urban centre now ranked among the top eight towns in the UK, for the exciting initiatives, including business and council partnerships to drive investment and boost footfall.
