Armagh Banbridge and Craigavon Community Planning Partnership and local elected representatives are inviting the public to shape the development of Dromore Place Plan. The Place Plan will be co designed by the people who live, work and visit Dromore, setting out a shared vision for the future to improve the social, economic and environmental aspects of the town.
The Place Planning process will provide an opportunity for the partnership to work together with local people and key stakeholders, unlocking innovation and change, to improve the quality of life in Dromore to benefit all. As part of the engagement campaign the local community are encouraged to participate and ‘Take stock’ of what Dromore has to offer and share their thoughts on the future of Dromore.
As the lead partner, the Council are seeking to engage with people of all ages collecting their thoughts, aspirations and needs for Dromore. Various engagement sessions have been planned between May and June 2024, which are outlined below;
- Tuesday 14 May – 7.00pm – 8.30pm at Dromore Community Centre, Bowling Pavilion.
- Tuesday 21 May – 11.15am – 12.45pm at Dromore Community Centre, Bowling Pavilion.
- Wednesday 22 May – 10.00am – 11.00am with Dromore Heritage Walk and Talk meeting at Market Square.
- Wednesday 22 May – 12 Noon – 5.00pm at Dromore Town Hall, 38 Market Square.
- Wednesday 22 May – 5.45pm – 7.00pm at Dromore Town Hall, 38 Market Square.
- Friday 10, 17, 24 & 31 May – 10.00am – 11.30am at Dromore Town Hall, 38 Market Square.
