Public Consultations open for Councils Disability and Equality Action Plans

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council has opened two public consultations for a Disability Action Plan and an Audit of Inequalities and Equality Action Plan until 2027.

Both plans outline councils’ commitment to promote equality for everyone living in the borough. Your feedback will help shape the proposed action plans to meet the needs of the people who live, work and visit our borough.

Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough, Alderman Margaret Tinsley, said:

“This is a great opportunity for everyone who lives, works or visits our borough to have their say and give their views to create a more inclusive place for everyone.

“Both consultations outline councils proposed plans and identifies how we can meet the needs of customers and visitors using existing resources. We encourage people to give their views to help shape our future plans.”
